Therapists at Pawnee have the opportunity to earn up to $12,000 per year in bonus pay by meeting their client care expectations and by holding groups. We are also offering a $2,500 signing bonus , paid in 2 installments at 6 months and 1 year!

The Role You Play
As a Community-Based Therapist at Pawnee, you will meet the needs of children ages 4-18 with Severe Emotional Disturbances and adults with an SPMI diagnosis who have various barriers to receiving treatment in a traditional setting. You will provide therapy in-home, as well as help coordinate other services for the clients. This position is also responsible for sitting in on diagnosis updates, treatment planning, and other duties which require a QMHP sign-off.
- The Day-to-Day
- Provide in-home therapy to children and adults with barriers to in-office visits, such as transportation or family systems barriers
- Develop and document treatment goals and plans, in coordination with the family and members of the treatment team
- Cultivate contacts with community partners for the betterment of the client's welfare
- Provide resources and education to the client and their family about their condition
- Complete SED waiver assessments for Same-Day Access intakes when needed
- Other Duties as Assigned
- Maintain continuing education and regular training events
- Act as a community advocate for those with mental health issues or severe emotional disorders
