Pawnee Waste is an industrial specialized solid waste facility located in Grover, CO. We are seeking a proactive and customer-focused Account Manager to support our waste facility and maintain strong relationships with our clients.
Position Overview:
This role combines customer relationship management, sales support, and administrative tasks, with a key focus on customer onboarding. The ideal candidate will be highly organized, personable, and have a proven ability to build and maintain customer relationships while ensuring smooth onboarding, customer satisfaction, and ongoing sales opportunities. This role will report to the Director of Business Development.
Key Responsibilities:
Account Management:
- Build and nurture strong, long-term relationships with existing clients to ensure satisfaction and retention.
- Serve as the main point of contact for customer inquiries, resolving issues and providing solutions promptly.
- Proactively identify opportunities to upsell or cross-sell services to current clients.
- Provide ongoing customer support to ensure smooth operations and a positive experience.
Customer Onboarding:
- Guide new customers through the onboarding process, ensuring all necessary documentation is completed accurately and in compliance with regulatory requirements.
- Ensure a seamless transition from the sales process to account management by providing a smooth and informative onboarding experience.
Sales Support & Administration:
- Assist in preparing sales quotes, contracts, and reports.
- Track sales leads and opportunities, providing follow-up support to the sales team.
- Maintain and update customer profiles in company databases.
- Coordinate and schedule company events and meetings with clients and internal teams.
- Ensure all administrative paperwork is processed efficiently.
Work Environment & Travel:
- Work in a hybrid setting, including in-office, remote, and travel to customer sites as needed.
- Occasionally travel to industry events to provide administrative or sales support.
- Represent the company professionally in all client interactions.
Qualifications & Skills:
- Experience: 2 years in an account management, customer service, or sales support role (experience in industrial, waste management, or environmental services is a plus).
- Skills:
o Strong customer service and relationship management skills.
o Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
o Ability to identify and pursue sales opportunities within existing accounts.
o Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook).
o Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.
o Ability to work independently and adapt to different work environments.
- Other Requirements:
o Must be comfortable with frequent travel.
o Professional demeanor and strong interpersonal skills.

*Prior to employment, the successful candidate will be required to pass a drug screen and background check.

Pay: Up to $65,000.00 per year
