PET GROOMER

Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Pet Groomer to join our team. This is a commision based position part-time you will average about $1800.00 per month fulltime can be as high as $3400.00 per month. You will earn 40% commission of your sales starting out. Six months your commision will increase to 45%. After one year of service you will earn 50% of your commission.

The ideal candidate will have a love for animals and a commitment to providing exceptional grooming services. As a Pet Groomer, you will be responsible for ensuring the health and well-being of pets while delivering high-quality grooming services that meet the needs of both pets and their owners. Your expertise in animal care will help create a positive experience for our furry clients and their families.

Responsibilities

• Perform grooming services including bathing, brushing, trimming, and nail clipping for various breeds of dogs and cats.
• Assess the condition of pets' coats and skin to determine appropriate grooming techniques and products.
• Maintain a clean and organized grooming area, ensuring all tools and equipment are sanitized after each use.
• Provide excellent customer service by communicating effectively with pet owners about their pets’ grooming needs and any concerns observed during grooming sessions.
• Handle animals with care, ensuring their comfort and safety throughout the grooming process.
• Stay updated on grooming trends, techniques, and best practices to enhance service quality.
• Collaborate with team members to ensure a smooth workflow in the grooming salon.

Experience

• Previous experience in pet grooming is preferred but not required; training may be provided for the right candidate.
• Skills in customer service are essential to foster positive relationships with pet owners.
• Familiarity with veterinary practices or experience as a veterinary technician is a plus.
• Background in animal care, including pet sitting or dog training, is beneficial.
• Experience in animal handling or working in a kennel environment is advantageous for managing various temperaments of pets effectively.
