Dog Bather/Receptionist

Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Pet Bather to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a love for animals and experience in animal care, ensuring that pets receive the highest level of grooming and comfort. As a Pet Bather, you will play a crucial role in maintaining the health and appearance of our furry clients while providing excellent customer service to their owners.

Duties

• Perform bathing, drying, brushing and nail trimming of pets to ensure cleanliness and comfort.
• Handle various breeds of dogs, demonstrating proper animal restraint techniques.
• Maintain a safe and clean grooming area, ensuring all tools and equipment are cleaned after use.
• Communicate effectively with pet owners regarding their pet's grooming needs and any observed health concerns.
• Assist with basic grooming tasks such as nail trimming and ear cleaning as needed.
• Provide exceptional customer service to pet owners, addressing any questions or concerns they may have.
• Collaborate with other team members to ensure a positive experience for both pets and their owners.
• Checking in and out clients while effectively communicating grooming needs/issues.
• Calling clients to schedule appointments and updating records.

Experience
Preferred candidates will have experience in one or more of the following areas:

• Kennel management
• Animal handling
• Pet grooming
• Pet care
• Veterinary assistance or technician roles
• General animal care

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $9.00 - $12.00 per hour
