Licensed Veterinary Technician

Paws, Claws, and Hooves Veterinary Center is looking to add a Licensed Veterinary Technician to our incredible team. Our LVTs are utilized in surgery, dentistry, client education, and patient treatments and are integral to helping us provide a high standard of care and support to our patients. This is an ideal position for someone that has excellent communication skills and enjoys working with a variety of species.

This is a full-time position, with flexible scheduling and availability needed M-F

Primary Skills/Responsibilities:

• Client communication and education
• Mixed animal patient handling and restraint
• Blood draw and IVC placement
• Dental cleaning, polishing, x-rays and extractions
• Advanced anesthesia monitoring and surgical assistance

Benefits/Compensation:

• $25-$28/hour BOE
• Bonus package: $2000
• CE: $500 the first year, $1000 every year after
