Paws and Claws Veterinary Clinic is looking for a friendly, organized, and compassionate Client Care Representative (Receptionist) to be the welcoming face of our practice. As a clinic owned and operated by a Fear Free Elite Certified veterinarian, we prioritize low-stress handling for pets and a positive experience for clients. Key Responsibilities:
- Client Communication: Greet clients and their pets with warmth and professionalism, answer phones, monitor and respond to messages in the client texting portal, and schedule appointments.
- Client Education: Provide basic information on services, vaccines, medications, and preventive care.
- Record Keeping: Maintain accurate patient files and document communications in our veterinary software (ezyVet experience is a plus!).
- Workflow Support: Assist in coordinating patient flow and ensuring smooth clinic operations.
- Social Media & Marketing: Contribute to social media engagement and client communication as needed.
- Client Assistance: Help pet owners understand treatment plans, prescription refills, and general care recommendations.
- Problem-Solving & Customer Service: Address client concerns with patience and professionalism, escalating issues as needed.
- Lobby & Reception Maintenance: Ensure the lobby and reception area remain clean, organized, and welcoming for clients and pets.
Preferred Qualifications & Experience:
- Prior experience in a veterinary, medical, or customer service setting is preferred.
- Strong multi-tasking and organizational skills in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent communication skills with a friendly and professional demeanor.
- Knowledge of ezyVet software or a willingness to learn veterinary practice software.
- Comfort working in a pet-friendly environment.
