Pawsitivity Pet Services is seeking enthusiastic and responsible individuals to join our team as Dog Walkers in Leesburg VA. This is a fun job, in a rewarding industry, but it is a significant responsibility. We provide in person and online training to be sure to set our team up for success!

Position Overview:

You will have the opportunity to work with a variety of dogs. Whether it's taking dogs for walks, feeding and playing with pets at their homes, or providing companionship for animals, you'll play a vital role in ensuring the well-being and happiness of our furry clients. This is a great job that requires patience, commitment, and physical strength!

Key Responsibilities:

• Safely and securely walk dogs of various breeds and sizes, ensuring they get the exercise and stimulation they need.
• Provide in-home visits for pets including feeding, watering, administering medication (if required), and engaging in playtime and enrichment activities.
• Follow detailed instructions from pet owners regarding feeding schedules, medication administration, and any special care requirements.
• Maintain open and transparent communication with pet owners, providing updates and photos to reassure them of their pets' well-being.
• Adhere to company policies and safety guidelines at all times to ensure the welfare of pets and your own safety.Completes pet visit in clients home in scheduled time blocks
• Document pet visit for pet owner via company-provided app

Qualifications:

• Genuine love for animals and a strong desire to provide excellent care for pets.
• Previous experience working with animals, such as dog walking, pet sitting, volunteering at animal shelters, or owning pets of your own.
• Reliable and responsible with a commitment to punctuality and professionalism.
• Ability to work independently and follow instructions accurately with an attention to detail.
• Comfortable working outdoors in various weather conditions and terrains and walking dogs of all sizes and energy levels.
• Access to reliable transportation to travel to and from client locations in Leesburg VA.
• Be at least 18 years old
• Pass a background check
• Have a smart phone

Pay: $20.00 - $150.00 per day

Expected hours: 5 – 30 per week
