What are the responsibilities and job description for the Part-Time Retail/Events Sales Associate position at Pawsnickety Pets?
Pawsnickety Pets is on the hunt for an energetic, dependable pet lover to join our team and serve our customers (hoomans, dogs & even some cats!) at our store on weekdays and at events, too.
Our hours are 11-7 from Monday to Saturday, and 11-5 on Sunday. Events are on the weekends and the hours vary.
If we hire multiple people, we would give you the option to select which dates you would want to work each month but we would love to have someone available for at least a couple of weekdays regularly.
You must be able to lift 25lb lb bags of pet food, etc.
Pet industry experience is preferred, but any sales and/or customer service experience is a plus!
Confidence and a cheerful disposition go a long way around here. We love creating a memorable experience for our shoppers and aspire for 5 star reviews all day, every day!
You will directly assist customers, process transactions, help merchandise the sales floor, and play a vital role in making our retail experience a positive one.
Top-notch customer service skills are a must.
Must have reliable transportation.
The ability to learn product knowledge quickly and thrive in a fast-paced environment are crucial to the success of our team members.
We are a new-ish business (opened in Dec 2020) and there is LOADS of potential for growth! This role, if executed well, will lead to significant pay raises, bonuses, management and supervisory opportunities as we continue to grow/expand. We are looking for someone who wants to help us achieve our goal of being a household name for pet parents in Hampton Roads!
