What are the responsibilities and job description for the Dog Walker/Pet Sitter position at Pawsome Walks?
Pawsome Walks is looking to add an experienced Dog Handler / Animal Care Taker to our passionate team!
Applicant must be experienced with dogs, have a flexible schedule and available to accommodate a dynamic schedule. Applicant must work some holidays and overnight pet sit as needed. Handlers are trained on the job by another seasoned handler and in addition, offered to learn Basic Training tutoring through Pawsome University. Due to the nature of our business, work volume can be unpredictable, but applicants should anticipate ay least 3 days of work per week. Busiest times M-F are 9-3. Weekends are sporadic. If you are unsure if your availablity will work, reach out. Full time and part time available!
Complete Shadowing a senior team member.
Attend consults to meet clients and their dogs.
Begin taking on your own schedule of visits.

Requirements:
At least 18 years of age.
Valid Driver's License & Reliable Transportation.
Some type of experience working in animal welfare, pet care, vet tech, grooming, etc.
Pass A Drug Screening*
Comfortable working with all types of animals (or willing to learn).
Handle all animals with care, compassion, and respect, and share our fear-free values.
*Although we do not test for Marijuana, working while under the influence of drugs or alcohol will result in immediatetermination.

Pay: $300.00 - $1,000.00 per week
