We are seeking a dynamic and dedicated Instructional Resource Teacher who will split their time between coaching teachers and providing direct support to students. This unique role requires a passionate educator with a deep understanding of instructional strategies, differentiated learning, and professional development methodologies. The ideal candidate will be able to effectively collaborate with teaching staff to enhance instructional practices while also delivering targeted interventions to support student success.

- Teacher Coaching:
- Provide ongoing professional development and coaching to teachers in instructional best practices, pedagogy, and curriculum development.
- Collaborate with teachers to design and implement effective instructional strategies that cater to diverse learning needs within the classroom.
- Model lessons that demonstrate best instructional practices for classroom teachers.
- Student Support:
- Identify students who require additional academic support through data analysis, assessments, and collaboration with classroom teachers and other support staff.
- Develop and implement targeted intervention plans to address the academic needs of individual students or small groups.
- Monitor student progress and adjust intervention strategies as needed to ensure student growth and achievement.
- Provide instruction to groups of students within the classroom setting.
- Curriculum Development:
- Assist in the development and refinement of curriculum materials, instructional resources, and assessment tools to align with educational standards and best practices.
- Collaborate with curriculum specialists and educational leaders to integrate new methodologies, technologies, and resources into instructional programs.
- Professional Development:
- Facilitate workshops, seminars, and training sessions for teachers, MLL coaches/support, and staff on topics related to effective teaching practices and student support strategies.
- Stay current with research and trends in education to provide relevant and up-to-date professional development opportunities.
- Data Analysis and Reporting:
- Collect, analyze, and interpret data related to student achievement and instructional outcomes to inform decision-making and program improvement efforts.
- Prepare reports and presentations to communicate findings, progress, and recommendations to school administration and stakeholders.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Education or related field (Master's degree preferred).
- Valid teaching certification/license.
- Proven experience as a classroom teacher with a successful track record of improving student outcomes.
- Experience in providing professional development and coaching to teachers.
- Strong understanding of differentiated instruction, assessment practices, and data-driven decision-making.
- Excellent communication, collaboration, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work effectively with diverse populations of students, teachers, and stakeholders.
- Proficiency in educational technology tools and software for instructional purposes.

Additional Information:
- This is a full-time position with a split focus between teacher coaching and student support.
- The Instructional Resource Teacher will report to the Supervisor of Instructional Resource Teachers.
