Phoenix, Arizona-Part Time Administrative Assistant Position Available in Medical/Legal Office, central Phoenix location. PAX Resource Consulting coordinates independent medical evaluations and medical review services to insurance carriers, third-party administrators, self-insured employers and law firms. A growing company with offices in Phoenix, Arizona and Albuquerque, New Mexico has an opportunity for an experienced Administrative Assistant with great customer service ability, potential for full time employment. In office position, with flexible schedules. Salary is dependent on level of experience. Opportunity for advancement.
Employment Requirements: Minimum High School Graduate is required, a minimum two-years clerical and/or customer service experience or equivalent. Valid Driver’s license.
Position performs a wide range of data processing tasks, including data preparation, data entry, data tracking, and documentation:
· Communication with clients, physicians and examinees
· Chaperoning exams
· Compliance with HIPPA regulations
· Scheduling appointments
· Chronological organization of medical records
· Scanning and copying legal documents
· Uploading physician dictation
· Formatting reports
· General office duties including filing, answering phone, preparing exam rooms
Qualifications and Skills:
Computer Literacy: Word, Excel and Basic Internet Skills
Must be detail oriented, organized and take pride in producing accurate, quality work
Ability to follow instructions and respond to managements’ directions promptly and accurately
Excellent Customer service skills are a priority
Must be able to work independently, prioritize work activities and use time efficiently
Professional and courteous phone etiquette and email communication
Must be reliable and able to complete duties with minimal supervision
Knowledge of medical terminology and/or insurance claims experience a plus,
Experience in a medical, legal office, insurance industry/workers’ compensation or liability claims, bilingual a plus.
