JOB TYPE: Full-Time position with eligibility for full benefits after 90 days.
LOCATION: These positions will be on-site in the Bay Area and Northern California; no mobilization or relocation assistance is available for this position.
COMPENSATION: $60 per hour, non-exempt, GSA mileage, per diem included. Final compensation will be negotiated upon offer of employment.
POSITION SUMMARY: The Master Electric Operations Quality Assurance Quality Control Specialist plays a critical role in ensuring the integrity, safety, and reliability of electric utility infrastructure. This position is responsible for evaluating construction and maintenance activities related to transmission, distribution, and substation projects, ensuring compliance with industry standards, company policies, and regulatory requirements.
What you will be responsible for: (Disclaimer: The lists below are not all inclusive)
- Serves as the subject matter expert (SME), providing oversight and guidance on more complex notification field scenarios and working on ad-hoc or special requests for new or re-evaluation of existing LC or EC notifications.
- Reviews completed work, attached pictures, maps and other information in company systems (such as SAP, Trifacta, Sherlock) to analyze and evaluate the completed work.
- Returns incomplete records to originator or Supervisor for correction and ensures all records and findings are maintained for potential future audits.
- Directs internal inspection quality audit efforts.
QUALIFICATIONS:
You must have the following: (Minimum)
- Authorized to work in the US
- High School Diploma
- Possess a valid driver’s license and be insurable with a clean driving record.
- 7 years of job-related utility experience
- Excellent communication both verbal and written with attention to detail.
- Must be proficient in using technology including cell phones, tablet, apps, Microsoft Office Suite.
- Willingness to Travel
- 6 months as a Senior Inspection Review Specialist
- Qualified Electrical Worker (QEW)

- Bachelor’s degree in engineering
