JOB TYPE : Full time with eligibility for company benefits.
LOCATION : This position will be based out of Walnut Creek, CA. Hybrid work could be possible after initial on boarding and only with the right candidate.
COMPENSATION : $120k - $150k / yr. depending on certifications and experience. This is an exempt position.
POSITION SUMMARY : As a RT SCADA specialist , you will be responsible for responding to emergency RT SCADA requests from operations, Work Order requests from field technicians, communication technicians, and other client stakeholders as part of a conversion from RT SCADA to Advanced Distribution Management System (ADMS). Expect to provide technical expertise and solutions to support the device building, testing, commissioning, and maintenance of RT SCADA systems for the client’s distribution network.
What you will be responsible for : (Disclaimer : The lists below are not all inclusive)
- Device building and mapping of various analog, status, calc, virtual, amp, analog points, history, settings, and controls.
- Resolves problems of limited scope within SCADA procedural guidelines in support of new device installation, upgrades, and replacements
- Coordination with field technicians, automation engineers, communication technicians, ADMS SCADA Specialists, project, program, and SCADA Managers to support the successful testing and release of devices.
- Seeks assistance from the supervisors or more senior employees on unusual or more difficult problems.
- Training will be provided for client specific systems.
