Paxton Media Group has an immediate opening for an advertising sales consultant for the Cynthiana, Ky. market. The person who fills this position will be responsible for growing existing accounts and securing new accounts, while building long-term business relationships within the community.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
Develop new accounts and grow existing accounts
Maintain day-to-day processes of getting ads in the newspaper
Research and analyze the markets for new business opportunities
Collection of past-due accounts
Meet or exceed monthly and annual sales goals
Work a 40-hour-minimum work week
QUALIFICATIONS
Must be computer-proficient
Must have strong planning and organization skills
Strong presentation skills a plus
Must be resilient to overcome objections
Willing to work in a team environment
Must possess initiative, and decision-making and problem-solving skills
Knowledge of markets a plus
High school diploma required
College education or equivalent experience preferred
Must have valid drivers license, reliable transportation and automobile insurance
