PayLynxs is looking for a Bank Secrecy Act (BSA) Anti Money Laundering (AML) compliance training specialist to play a lead role in training new clients for how to setup, configure and tune our platform to support their BSA program.  This person will be part of our customer support team to help ensure that our clients have a successful experience using our platform. 

 

This person must have experience working with BSA/AML compliance in the banking or credit union industry and be familiar with different patterns, techniques, tools and industry solutions. 

 

 

Job Description 

This is a full-time position to be part of our SimpliRisk support team to help train new and existing clients on how to get the most out of our BSA/AML platform.  The person would be responsible for the following activities:  

 

  1. Conduct ongoing training sessions for new client implementations to teach and guide clients to setup the different modules 
  2. Bring subject matter experience to training sessions to help advise new clients for what makes a successful compliance program 
  3. Participate in industry events and information sessions to learn and acquire knowledge around best practice BSA, AML or Fraud monitoring to help guide and influence how to configure the SimpliRisk software platform for a client 
  4. Collaborate with our product team to learn about or influence the development of new features 
  5. Support existing clients that need refresher training sessions. 
  6. Comfortable in a client-facing role representing the company.  

Experience & Expectations 

This person needs to have the following experience: 

  1. Worked in a BSA/AML compliance role (e.g., analyst, investigator, specialist) at a bank or credit union for at least 4 years 
  2. Experience using different technology platforms, in-house and third-party, for BSA/AML or Fraud detection and case management 
  3. Experience with the compilation and validation of FinCEN SAR and CTR data 
  4. Experience assisting, training or teaching people how to implement new workflow or new software is a plus 

Hours & Compensation 

  1. Location: Portland, OR 
  2. Work Environment: Training and orientation will be in the office; post training hybrid
  3. Hours: Monday – Friday from 9am – 5pm PT 
  4. Compensation: $65,000 – $80,000 with opportunity for growth
  5. Benefits: Medical, Dental, Vision and a 401K retirement plan savings
