What are the responsibilities and job description for the Client Retention Specialist position at Paychex?
Overview
Function as a customer service representative who contacts clients to resolve issues, maintain our revenue stream and reinforce the features and benefits of our products.
Works to entrench our position in the marketplace as a quality human resource services provider and differentiate us from our competitors.
Responsibilities
- Contact high risk clients to reduce client losses and contribute to successful achievement of regional retention goals.
- Respond to first level requests from the field to contact clients who are identified as being at risk. Address client concerns appropriately and follow up with the appropriate business unit as necessary
- Perform an in depth needs analysis during client interactions. Maintains current knowledge of Paychex products and services.
Evaluate a client's suite of products and make any recommendation to ensure their business needs are met.
- Participates in various retention campaigns targeting specific client segments. Provide feedback to the business unit to assist in determining any patterns and help uncover root cause.
- Other duties as assigned to support the general purpose of the position's function.
Qualifications
- H.S. Diploma - Required
- Associate's Degree - Preferred
- 2 years of experience in customer service center / telemarketing.
- 2 years of experience in General business experience, benefits and / or payroll a plus.
- Work schedule : 8 : 00AM - 5 : 00PM MST and PST
Compensation
In the spirit of pay transparency, we are excited to share that the starting base pay range for this position is $21.17 - $33.
27 hourly. Please keep in mind that this range is the base pay only and does not consider other components that make up the total rewards package for the position.
If you are hired at Paychex, your overall compensation will be determined based on factors such as geographic location, skills, education, and / or experience which may result in total compensation outside of this range.
Salary : $21 - $33
