In the spirit of pay transparency, we are excited to share that the starting base pay range for this position is $56,280 - $88,440 annually. Please remember that this range is the base pay only and does not consider other components that make up the total rewards package for the position. If you are hired at Paychex, your overall compensation will be determined based on factors such as geographic location, skills, education, and/or experience, which may result in total compensation outside of this range.
Serves as liaison with onsite travel staff and manages key department programs, including vendor contract management.
Responsibilities
- Serves as Travel Management Company (TMC) administrator and acts as a liaison between Paychex and \TMC dedicated staff to oversee work quality. Builds and maintains operational, day to day relationship with TMC to ensure trip accuracy and identify areas where agents would benefit from additional training. Keeps TMC updated on all Paychex vendor contracts and all policy updates to ensure policy compliance. Ensure through reporting, that all data fields are being accurately entered by travel specialists. Serves as back up administrator for online booking tool.
- Manages air, car. and preferred hotel vendor contracts to ensure negotiated contracts meet budgetary requirements. Manage and maintain hotel directory. Conducts essential reporting and reviews contract quarterly, as required. Oversees contract fulfillment to ensure requirements are met.
- Works with Paychex travelers to provide day to day guidance and raise awareness of travel policy. Manages policies and procedures related to Travel Services, with specific emphasis on adherence to travel policy. Partners with Accounts Payable to ensure policy compliance on expense reporting.
- Supervises Travel Technology Analyst position
- Partner with business units and Travel, Meeting & Events Manager to provide monthly and ad hot reporting to ensure Travel Policy is adhered to, business unit's T&E budget is met.
- Supports Travel, Meeting and Events Manager on special projects for executives as needed to support planning and execution.
- Researches travel technology trends to recommend process improvements and overall travel management effectiveness.
- Works directly with Travel, Meeting and Events Manager and CEO's office to support private air charter requests.
- Provides back up to the Travel Technology Analyst for monthly reconciliation of Amex BTA billing.
- Travels to large, key meetings to provide on-site support.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in
- 6 years of experience in Experience in travel agency or corporate travel department.
- Global Data Systems experience.
