What are the responsibilities and job description for the Product Analyst position at Paycom Payroll Llc?
Product Analysts serve as subject matter experts in their assigned products and product suites. They combine their knowledge of the Paycom system and client interactions with the software to support internal departments through analysis, troubleshooting, and information sharing.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Serve as a product subject matter expert by addressing feedback requests, escalated tickets, and other inquiries from clients and internal stakeholders.
- Research system issues to identify and document the root cause.
- Provide Product Managers with usability improvement opportunities based on system analysis and client feedback.
- Shadow internal users to clearly understand and document use cases from clients.
- Participate in the product development process by collaborating in Agile meetings, providing insight and context to client feedback using interactions with stakeholders and knowledge of the product.
- Participate in product release planning and training preparation by reviewing training plans and documents for accuracy.
Education/Certification:
- High School Diploma required
- Bachelor’s Degree preferred
Experience Required:
- 2 years working with HR systems as an administrator or working in a software support position
- Demonstrates ability to communicate effectively and professionally, both written and verbally to stakeholders with varying levels of technical knowledge
Experience Preferred:
- 2 years working with the Paycom system as an administrator
Skills and Abilities:
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to collect, organize, analyze, and disseminate significant amounts of information
- Adept at queries, report writing and presenting findings
- Ability to work independently to achieve results
- Ability to write and speak clearly while communicating complex ideas
- Strong attention to detail
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
