What are the responsibilities and job description for the Protective Services Officer (Shift: Fri-Sun 6pm -6am and Tues 1pm-5pm) position at Paycom?
The Protective Services Officer, under the supervision of the Protective Services Supervisor, ensures safety and security for Paycom personnel at any location secured by the Safety and Physical Security Department. Officers will monitor and ensure all proper procedures are followed for individuals entering and exiting their assigned location. Officers must remain on high alert to prevent security breaches, theft, or other forms of loss.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Patrols grounds to check for hazards and unsafe conditions.
Tour assigned location by foot and / or vehicle in all weather conditions to ensure all buildings, gates, and fence perimeters are secure.
Greet and direct personnel and visitors onto the property.
Quickly and safely direct emergency personnel on and off the property when emergency situations occur.
Shadow and train during day, night, and weekend shifts to gain experience necessary to work independently on all shifts.
Hold valid CLEET Security Officer License level IV-Armed throughout employment.
Read, comprehend and exhibit understanding of company safety and security policies and procedures.
Upholds the organizations values and keeps commitments by treating all internal and external customers with respect.
