What are the responsibilities and job description for the Workers Compensation Claims Specialist position at Payday Human Resources?
· Day-to-day claims operations, including claims evaluation, adjudication and customer service in accordance with agreed quality and production standards
· Timely processing of claims and compliance with industry fair claims practices and applicable state regulations concerning the processing of claims as well as efficient processing of certificate of insurance requests
- Regular reconciliation of workers compensation claims and premiums and financial data with reporting to management
· Maintaining good, professional working relationship with superiors, peers, subordinates and other department managers and personnel
· Other duties as assigned by management
· Minimum of five years of claims experience
· Extensive product knowledge
· Extensive knowledge of medical conditions and terminology
· Excellent verbal and written communications skills
· Excellent, professional interpersonal skills
· Good computer skills
· Knowledge of MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook)
* This position can be considered for a remote candidate for the right candidate with sufficient experience. If experience is not sufficient and training is required then the job must be performed at our corporate office at 4490 North "W" Street, Pensacola, FL 32505.
