Pay Rate: NEGOTIABLE DEPENDING ON EXPERIENCE
Shift: 1st shift
Description:
Wash, sand, and mask vehicles to prepare for painting and repair work.
Inspect vehicles for dents, scratches, and other imperfections and report findings to the body shop team.
Apply primer and sealers as needed to ensure proper paint adhesion.
Prep vehicles by removing parts and trim to ensure the paint job is precise and thorough.
Assist with the disassembly and reassembly of vehicle components as needed
Perform body repairs, including dent removal, panel replacement, and frame straightening.
Disassemble and reassemble vehicles as necessary for repairs.
Align and fit body panels, doors, bumpers, and trim components.
Sand, grind, and prep surfaces for painting and refinishing.
Work collaboratively with painters and preppers to ensure a smooth refinishing process.
Follow OEM repair procedures and industry best practices.
Maintain an organized and safe workspace while handling tools and materials properly.
Prepare vehicles for painting by sanding, masking, and priming surfaces.
Mix and match paint colors to achieve an exact match to OEM specifications.
Apply paint using spray guns and other industry-standard tools.
Perform touch-ups and buffing to ensure a flawless finish.
