Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Fulfillment Associate to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in ensuring that orders are processed accurately and efficiently within our distribution center. This position requires a strong understanding of warehouse operations, including shipping and receiving, order picking, and the use of various equipment such as RF scanners and forklifts.
Responsibilities
- Accurately pick, pack, and prepare orders for shipment in accordance with company standards.
- Utilize RF scanners to track inventory and ensure proper order fulfillment.
- Operate forklifts, pallet jacks, and cranes safely to move products within the warehouse.
- Assist in shipping and receiving activities, ensuring all items are accounted for and properly documented.
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment to promote safety and efficiency.
- Collaborate with team members to meet daily production goals and deadlines.
- Perform routine maintenance checks on heavy equipment to ensure optimal performance.
- Follow all safety protocols and guidelines while operating machinery.
Qualifications
- Previous experience in a distribution center or warehouse environment is preferred.
- Proficiency in operating RF scanners and heavy equipment such as forklifts and cranes is highly desirable.
- Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to troubleshoot minor equipment issues.
- Familiarity with order picking processes and shipping/receiving procedures.
- Ability to lift heavy items (up to 50 pounds) and stand for extended periods.
- Excellent attention to detail with strong organizational skills.
- Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
