Overview
We are seeking a Senior Copy Editor to join our growing market access company.
Qualifications
- BA/BS degree in journalism or English is preferred
- Professional maturity, integrity, discipline, and a positive attitude are helpful
- 5 years of experience in medical/pharmaceutical editing required
- Knowledge of AMA style and basic FDA guidelines is mandatory
- Excellent knowledge of proper grammar and punctuation is mandatory
- Ability to recognize inconsistencies in wording as well as data is mandatory
- Experience with fact-checking data vs original references is required
- Science background/interest is helpful, but not mandatory
- Ability to work on all types of print and digital materials is helpful
- All editing is done electronically, so excellent computer skills are necessary
- Working environment requires the ability to complete jobs in an accurate yet timely manner
- Ability to manage time and interact in a professional manner with other team members is necessary.
