Lot Attendant / Lot Porter / Driver

Payless Car Sales is looking for a full time lot attendant.

Duties include but are not limited to the following:
- Moving vehicles to and from our various facilities
- Assisting sales staff with pulling vehicles for test drives
- Fueling vehicles at an off-site location
- Preparing sold vehicles for delivery by removing windshield price stickers and buyer's guide
- Maintaining frontline inventory and ensuring frontline vehicles are clean
- Pricing vehicles and sticking buyer's guides on the front line vehicles
- Assisting with cleaning snow off front line vehicles when it snows and assisting with moving vehicles during snow plowing
- Assist with keeping our facilities clean; picking up litter and assist with sweeping and mopping when necessary
- Assisting with moving vehicles in and out of our showroom
- Dusting showroom vehicles

For this position, you will need proper winter clothing/gear which includes: winter jacket, winter boots, snow pants, gloves and a hat. You will be required to be outside for 30-45 minutes at a time so you will need proper winter gear without any exceptions.

Applicant MUST have a valid driver's license.

This job may require overtime on days where sales are busy or we get access snowfall. We are open 7 days a week, so if you are looking to work on the weekends and have weekdays off, we can help with a flexible schedule. Applicants must be willing to work weekend and/or evening shifts.

Work is generally performed both outdoors and indoors, some time spent in a shop environment, majority of job duties will be completed via standing or walking, though bending and twisting will occur to enter and exit vehicles. Use of some mechanics hand tools, pressure washers, and general carwash equipment will be used daily and throughout the entire work shift. On snow days, the Applicant will be asked to either manually clean snow off the vehicles or use a leaf blower to clean snow.

This position starts are $16-20 hour DOE. If you show commitment and willingness to learn and exceed, we can also consider giving a raise after 90 days. We also offer excellent health, dental, and vision insurance benefits.
