We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized Dispatcher/Data Entry Assistant to join our team. This role is critical in ensuring smooth logistics operations by coordinating dispatch activities and managing essential data entry tasks. The ideal candidate will have a background in data reporting and analysis, with a focus on accuracy and efficiency. Position is Monday-Friday 7am-4:30pm, but does need to be flexible with schedule.
Responsibilities
- Schedule and dispatch drivers, vehicles, or equipment to appropriate locations according to customer requests, specifications, or needs
- Data Entry
- Running reports daily to turn in to supervisor
- Check in drivers before and after their shift
- Serve as the primary point of contact for customers regarding delivery schedules, shipping status, and any issues that arise.
- Collect and analyze data related to logistics operations, such as delivery times, transportation costs, and inventory levels.
- Address any issues or delays in the supply chain and work to resolve them quickly.
