Host/Hostess Job Description
- Greet all guests with a warm smile.
- Your body language must always remain professional.
- Seat guests according to the seating procedures.
- Use provided software for seating.
- Deliver menus to guests according to the seating procedures.
- Answer phones and direct calls to the appropriate personnel.
- Execute all procedures regarding take-out orders.
- Maintain host stand in impeccable order and cleanliness.
- Communicate all guest requests to servers and supervisors.
- Always say “thank you for coming” to exiting customers. Stop what you are doing and address them fully on their way out.
- Must be able operate the point-of-sale system with accuracy.
- Other duties as assigned.
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: From $14.00 per hour
Expected hours: 25 – 30 per week
