Established in 2012, PayMore.com is an electronic buying, selling, trading and recycling franchise. We offer cash on the spot for new, used, and broken electronics. We also retail new and PayMore certified electronics in our store locations.
We are looking for a fast paced, detail oriented, tech savvy people person who can quickly identify, test, and price electronics for our customers.
We are seeking a Junior Second Hand Electronics Buyer for our Harbison. This person will be great with people, have consumer electronic knowledge, will be able to negotiate fair pricing for new, used, and broken electronics, while fostering relationships with our customers.

Responsibilities:
- Greet and explain our company processes to incoming customers. Build relationships with customers.
- Identify and test a wide range of consumer electronics from our customers.
- Determine pricing for a wide range of electronics from smartphones, tablets, laptops, game systems and more through our software, and referencing additional resources provided.
- Negotiate pricing with our customers, keeping a professional attitude, demeanor and business acumen.
- Close sales and generate intake receipts.
Requirements:
- Must have excellent electronics knowledge and handling of smartphones, tablets, laptops, game systems – e.g. data wiping smartphones, removing iCloud accounts, testing game systems, Windows use, MacOS use, being able to quickly identify, test, and assess a wide variety of consumer electronics while communicating with customers in a high paced environment.
- Must be a people person, ability to befriend, relate, and build relationships with all types of customers. Ability to remain focused in a high volume/fast paced environment – Ability to adapt from customer to customer, situation to situation
- Must be able to type quickly and accurately. Accuracy is paramount as you will be entering in final records of purchase.
- Punctual, “get it done” upbeat attitude, team player, professional demeanor.
- Must be able to follow protocol and procedures.
- Professional appearance.
- Must be well spoken (English) Bilingual Spanish a major plus.
- Understanding of popular second hand online auction sites, and the ability to reference/search completed listings of products quickly.
- Sales experience a plus, but not required.
- Bilingual Spanish a plus, but not required.
- Must be able to remain on your feet for hours at a time, possibly 8 hours. Ability to lift 25lb items.
Required:
- You must pass a typing and general aptitude test to be considered for employment.

Junior Buyer Compensation:
- Hourly pay: $15/hr-starting pay. $18/hr after training, usually 1 months time depending on experience. Advancement to Senior Buyer after 6 months of full time work; commensurate with performance.
- Commissioned incentives for good work habits.
- Hours: Full time. Hours required 10am-6pm Monday-Friday 11-3 Saturday. 44 Hours, 4 hours of over time
- Paid training @ 15/hr.

Expected hours: 44 per week
