Job description
We are looking for an electronics tester. This position will test Apple, Samsung, Google and other brand phones, smartwatches, computers/computer parts, drones, cameras and more. We process hundreds of laptops, pcs, MacBooks, iMacs, gaming systems and more. The ideal candidate will be able to multi task in the tech area by setting up laptops and gaming systems for wiping, cleaning, testing and processing.
This position has the following responsibilities:
- Data wipe, set up windows/MacOS on laptops/pcs and gaming systems.
- Inspect, clean, fully test and grade the devices for sale.
- Enter data specifics into our software for sale.
- Should a device not meet our stringent quality for resale, it would be parted/pieced out and sold or salvaged.
- Light hardware repairs required such as changing batteries, parting down devices, ram etc. No high-level repairs are required for this position. The ideal candidate would be able perform those higher-level repairs but it is not required.
- Will share a green attitude consistent with our company, we aim to reduce eWaste and repurpose electronics. We also hold data privacy and dating wiping to the utmost standards. Experience
- Experience working with laptops, pc, MacBook iMacs, MacOS, Windows. Certifications a plus but not required.
- Windows, MacOS and hardware troubleshooting

- Ability to work quickly but efficiently and multi task
- Pride in their work, attention to detail.
- Must be able to consistently produce a high output of fully wiped, accurately described devices for the business’s retail and eCommerce departments.
- Ability to work well with others
- Ability to be self-managed, as you will have your own work area.
- Fast and accurate typing speed.
- Ability to work in a high paced, results oriented environment. Job Type: Full-time or Part-Time Starting Pay is $14-$15/hr during training (this period is usually 4-8 weeks). Once training is complete you can earn up to $18/hr based on experience and performance. Job Types: Full-time, Part-time, Temporary Pay: $14.00 - $18.00 per hour Expected hours: 20 – 40 per week
