Payne Trucking is seeking a self-motivated parts counter clerk for our repair shop.
Parts Counter Clerk Job Duties:
- Ability to work independently and with a team in a fast-paced work environment.
- Strong communication, customer service, and retail skills.
- Understand inventory systems.
- Knowledge of all makes of truck parts.
- Keep accurate records of special-order parts and open tickets.
- Ability to make service and parts recommendations based on inventory, service schedule, and pricing.
- Commitment to safety in the parts department.
Requirements:
- Experience working a vehicle parts counter a plus.
- Experience working with vehicle/heavy duty equipment repairs or parts a plus.
