Your New Role:
As a Pest Control Technician, you'll be the frontline hero tackling pest problems in both commercial and residential settings. Your day-to-day responsibilities will include:
- Applying Integrated Pest Management (IPM) techniques to exterminate pests.
- Setting and baiting rodent stations and traps.
- Managing pigeon control and performing clean-ups with proper PPE.
- Controlling gophers and ground squirrels around buildings and parks.
- Handling bee services including hive extraction and honey removal.
- Responding promptly to customer service calls and ensuring complete satisfaction.
- Completing required forms and ensuring all treatments are performed safely.
- Maintaining a clean, safe, and functional vehicle and equipment.

Job requirements
- Prior experience preferred.
- Applicators License and/or Field Representative II (2) license issued by the State of California.
- Must have a valid driver's license and clean driving record.
- The ability to read, write, learn, and communicate in English effectively.
- Must be able to write simple correspondence.
- Must have the ability to effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations to customers, clients, and co-workers.
- Able to stand, walk, sit, use hands and fingers, climb, balance, stoop, kneel, crouch, crawl, talk, hear, taste, smell, and lift and carry 25 lbs. (Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform essential functions.)
- Ability to regularly work outdoors in changing weather conditions and frequently exposed to fumes or airborne particles work environment. (The use of PPEs is MANDATORY and will reduce the risk of exposure to fumes, airborne particles, and heat-related illnesses.)
- Ability to work occasionally in high, and/or small and confined places and is occasionally exposed to cold, hot, wet, and/or humid conditions with toxic or caustic chemicals.
- Ability to work in an environment with usually moderate noise levels.
