What are the responsibilities and job description for the Technical Accounting and Financial Reporting Manager position at Payoneer?

The Manager - Technical Accounting and Financial Reporting will report to the Director of Technical Accounting and Financial Reporting, as well as work closely with the VP of Finance, Chief Accounting Officer and other global Finance leaders.
This role will be based in our New York, NY office.
What you'll do :
- Prepare and update accounting policies and topical memorandums periodically and as accounting matters arise and change
- Accounting treatment assessments for major contracts, product lines, investment structures, and / or transactions
- Monitor new and changing rules and requirements from governing bodies, including but not limited to, the FASB and the SEC, and assist with the Company's adherence to such standards
- Monitor comparable public company financial reporting and understand existing and evolving industry standards in accounting policy
- Collaboration with third-parties, including external auditors, consultants, and others on matters as needed
- Assist with special projects as needed, including transactions accounting and related matters
- Understand the Company's general ledger and consolidation process and ensure compliance with US GAAP
- Assist with preparation of periodic SEC and regulatory reporting in accordance with SEC and US GAAP standards
- Assist with project management of the Company's SEC and regulatory reports, including gathering input from relevant stakeholders and ensuring adherence to timelines
- Execute periodic controls as assigned and understand the Company's SOX framework
- Assist in the preparation of financial statement presentation and disclosures

In accordance with New York City Law, below is the annual base salary range for this position. Actual annual base salary is based on, but not limited to : experience, education, professional licenses, location and business needs. The position is eligible for health insurance, disability insurance, life insurance, 401k plan, paid-time off, and sick (and where applicable safe) leave. This position is also eligible for a discretionary year-end bonus.
The annual base salary range for this position is : $120,000 - $135,000.
