We enable consumers to engage in cross-border shopping and merchants to extend their global reach while reducing the complexity and friction involved in enabling cross-border trade. Job Description Summary: Seeking to hire an experienced Product Director to spearhead and own all product initiatives in country, focusing on deep product expertise, product strategy and customer needs to translate business strategy into product strategy Job Description: In this role you will work closely with the Global Markets team to define, build and roll out new customer centric products and provide CPO support to the market leader. You will also work closely with the central product organisation to define local market product and customer needs and ensure the execution of market-level fit of any new product coming to market. The role will report to the Director of EU Product. In your day to day role you will Be the market product & customer expert through deep expertise on PayPal’s own products as well as competitor’s. Articulate local customer needs and problem statements to the central product organization to drive customer centric product development and represent gaps Define product requirements & strategy based on local market customer and technology insights. Translate business strategy into product strategy by partnering closely with the market leaders Work with the international product manager to create local PRDs. Ensure product readiness from a local market perspective (Alpha & Beta tested) Ongoing product performance monitoring to ensure early detection and resolution of issues along the XO journey. Translate learnings into recommendations and present to global product leads.
