Job Description Summary :
The Pricing and FX Platforms Engineering Team handles the financial infrastructure that supports all verticals within PayPal and enables those verticals to generate revenue. This team supports multiple verticals within PayPal, including Treasury (cash management & foreign exchange), Pricing (how PayPal prices its merchants and partners), and Merchant and Partner domains. The selected candidate will have a unique opportunity to make a significant impact on scale, performance, and customer experience by building highly available and scalable platforms using emerging technologies like Cloud, AI / ML.
Your way to impact :
- You will provide technical leadership across a complex business area for Pricing and FX that supports multiple verticals within PayPal.
- Provide technical direction and support technical and leadership capabilities of other staff members.
- Solid understanding of business systems across multiple domains to shape technical requirements and Solutions.
- Strong experience in solutions architecture, distributed systems, and a proven track record of improving teams from a tech stack or technology perspective.

Compensation :
The U.S. national annual pay range for this role is $107300 to $259600. Actual compensation is based on various factors including but not limited to work location, and relevant skills and experience.
Work Model :
For the majority of employees, PayPal's balanced hybrid work model offers 3 days in the office for effective in-person collaboration and 2 days at your choice of either the PayPal office or your home workspace.
