Job Description Summary :

As the Senior Product Manager of Product Health - Technical Triage, you will be part of a newly formed team focused on end-to-end product performance improvement. This will span opportunity detection and resolution. Product Health is initially focused on improving performance and quality of PayPal Checkout, PayPal's largest product. There is a plan to expand the scope to all PayPal products over time. Furthermore, there is a large revenue target associated with Product Health.

In this role, you will be the product management leader responsible for the technical triage strategy, roadmap, and vision. You will work closely with the engineering team that leads technical triage to achieve this. You will ensure detected performance improvement opportunities are properly categorized, prioritized and routed to the right owner. You will also track all cases to closure. You will inject AI / ML methodologies to accelerate and automate this process. You will partner closely with the product and engineering observability leads to improve proactive issue identification across the customer life cycle. You will also partner with action owners to improve resolution proficiency. You will support definition and enforcement of companywide instrumentation and observability standards. You will work with Merchant Servicing and strategic clients in cases where clients are consuming the product in an erroneous or suboptimal way. These activities will lead to higher product performance and elevated customer satisfaction.

• Develop and execute the technical triage strategy, roadmap, and vision.
• Work closely with cross-functional teams, including engineering, design, sales, and analytics, to understand current gaps and define product requirements.
• Prioritize product features based on internal teams and merchant feedback, business goals, and technical feasibility.
• Collaborate with the engineering team to ensure that products are built efficiently, effectively, and on time.
• Track product performance and make data-driven decisions to improve the product.
• Inject AI / ML methodologies into the performance optimization process to drive faster and larger scale realization of objectives
• Evangelize the product vision for Product Health and ensure product roadmaps incorporate corresponding best practices and standards.
• Stay up-to-date with industry trends and emerging technologies related to product performance and observability platforms and make recommendations on how to incorporate them into our products.
