Minimum Qualifications
· Three years of experience in payroll processing (Required)
· Minimum 2 years of experience in a direct supervisory role (Required)
· Certified Payroll Professional (CPP) (Preferred)
· Fundamental Payroll Certification (FPC) (Preferred)
· Bachelor’s or Associate’s degree in Accounting, Business Administration, or Human Resources (Preferred)

· Strong supervisory and leadership skills

· Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Excel) and prior experience with complex payroll software
Responsibilities
· Oversee overall payroll production operations and workflow, ensuring payrolls are completed accurately and timely, according to our established service level agreements
· Daily monitoring/solutioning of ‘Help’ email inbox items and escalated payroll-related questions
· Provide leadership through coaching, development, and supervision of the payroll team
· Collaborate with internal teams to maintain positive, professional, and cooperative working relationships and teamwork
· Proactively identify and recommend updates to payroll procedures and processes
· Provide guidance and training to clients on best practices and use of our online payroll system
· Oversee the setup and maintenance of our clients’ company and employee records
· Maintain strict confidentiality and security for all Payroll Professionals and client data
· Facilitate processing of a wide variety of payroll transactions and updates for clients
· Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local payroll, wage and hour laws and best practices
· Display the highest level of service excellence and professionalism with our clients, through prompt phone and email correspondence
· Ensure daily mail and payroll packages are sent in a timely manner
· Assist in tear down of submitted payrolls, based on specific pack-out instructions
· Support in the processing of W-2’s, 1099’s, and ACA reporting on behalf of our clients
Perform other duties and projects as assigned by management.
