Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Warehouse Lead to oversee daily operations within our warehouse environment. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills and a solid understanding of warehouse management systems, shipping and receiving processes, and materials handling. This role is crucial in ensuring efficient workflow, maintaining high standards of safety, and fostering a productive team atmosphere.

Duties

• Supervise and coordinate daily warehouse activities to ensure efficient operations.
• Manage team performance, providing guidance and support to warehouse staff.
• Oversee shipping and receiving processes, ensuring accuracy in order fulfillment and inventory management.
• Utilize warehouse management systems to track inventory levels, shipments, and deliveries.
• Implement best practices for materials handling to optimize workflow and reduce waste.
• Train new employees on warehouse procedures, safety protocols, and equipment operation.
• Collaborate with other departments to facilitate smooth operations within the supply chain.
• Maintain a clean and organized warehouse environment in compliance with safety regulations.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in a warehouse environment, preferably in a supervisory or lead role.
• Strong mechanical knowledge related to warehouse equipment and operations.
• Experience with shipping and receiving processes, cycle counting, and order pulling.
• Excellent team management skills with the ability to motivate and develop staff.
• Strong organizational skills with attention to detail.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while managing multiple priorities.
• Knowledge of safety regulations and best practices in a warehouse setting.

Job Types: Full-time, Contract

Pay: $18.00 - $20.00 per hour

Schedule:

• 8 hour shift
• Monday to Friday
