About the role
As a Senior Software Engineer, you will be responsible forleading software development projects, and designing, developing, testing and debugging code. You will mentor junior developers and collaboratewithcross-functionalteamstodeliverhigh-qualityproducts.
What you will do
Develop high-quality software design and architecture.
Identify, prioritize, and execute tasks in the software development life cycle.
Develop tools and applications by producing clean, efficient code.
Automate tasks through appropriate tools and scripting.
Perform validation and verification testing.
Collaborate with internal teams and vendors to fix and improve products.
Document development phases and monitor systems.
Ensure software is up to date with the latest technologies.
What you need to succeed
Bachelor's degree in computer science, Engineering, or a related field.
At least 5 years of software development experience, with prior experience as a Senior Software Engineer.
Proficiency in Java and / or Node.js.
Strong skills in integrating software systems and ensuring interoperability in complex environments.
Solid understanding of software design patterns.
Experience with system monitoring tools (e.g., New Relic) and automated testing frameworks.
Ability to create comprehensive technical documentation for specialized software solutions.
Experience working with relational databases (e.g., PostgreSQL, MySQL) and NoSQL databases (e.g., MongoDB).
Basic knowledge of AWS.
Familiarity with Linux, macOS, and Windows.
Experience in software development, scripting, and project management.
