Warehouse Shipping Agent

For over 30 Years Paz Aviation Inc has provided quality repair services to the aviation industry.

Summary

This position is responsible for accurately and efficiently packaging, counting, recording, distributing and shipping materials according to standard policies and procedures.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

· Fills customer orders according to standard operating procedures.

· Keeps and verifies records of incoming and outgoing shipments.

· Uses computer hardware and software to generate labels and maintain equipment.

· Ensures that products processed for shipping are delegated to the correct courier.

· Prepares customer shipments

·Maintains a clean and organized workspace

Other duties as assigned.

Required Knowledge, Skills and Abilities

· Excellent written and oral communication skills in order to effectively interact with all levels of staff from different departments effectively.

· Well-developed interpersonal skills that promote and foster a team culture.

· Excellent organizational and problem-solving skills in order to prioritize workload according to business demands.

· Ability to read, write, speak and understand English.

· Proficient in Outlook, Word and Excel.

· Strong attention to detail required

Required Education and Experience

· High School Diploma or equivalent required.

· Minimum of one year experience in shipping environment preferred.

Physical Demands

DOT/FAA regulations require all applicants for placement in DOT/FAA safety-sensitive positions will be required submit to a pre-employment drug test as well as random testing annually.
While performing the duties of this job, the employee is frequently required to stand; walk; sit; use hands to finger, handle, or feel; reach with hands and arms; stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl; and talk or hear. The employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 70 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $15.00 - $18.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
