About the Role:
The primary focus will be caring for the family’s 2- and 3-year-olds while assisting with household tasks and meal prep to keep things running smoothly. The role also includes school pickups for the two older children, one of whom has autism. The family prefers a faith-aligned helper who shares their values.
Key Responsibilities:
- Engage the 2- and 3-year-olds in fun, age-appropriate activities.
- Assist with daily household tasks, including:
- Loading/unloading the dishwasher
- Sweeping/vacuuming common areas
- Laundry (not just children's)
- Meal prep and light cooking
- School pickups for older children (using the family’s vehicle).
- Provide occasional care for the older children, including one with autism.
- Be proactive and flexible in assisting with childcare and household needs.
- Communicate openly with the family about changing needs and schedules.

✅ Experience with young children and a structured yet flexible routine.
✅ Strong household management skills—able to keep up with daily tasks.
✅ Warm, patient, and kind personality with a willingness to step in where needed.
✅ Balance of independence and teamwork—comfortable taking direction but also anticipating needs.
✅ Experience with special needs (autism) is a plus but not required.
✅ Faith-based perspective preferred to align with the family’s values.
✅ Reliable & adaptable—must be open to a shortened or extended commitment as needed.
