A loving and busy family is seeking a playful, proactive, and nurturing Mother’s Helper to support their energetic 2-year-old son while Mom focuses on caring for their 5-month-old daughter and managing household tasks. This role is perfect for someone who enjoys being hands-on with toddlers and is eager to contribute to a well-run, joyful home.
About the Family:
Their toddler is curious and full of energy—he loves playing with construction vehicles, exploring outside, and jumping into creative projects. The baby is easygoing, observant, and enjoys music and family time. The ideal candidate will be engaging, reliable, and able to create enriching, developmentally appropriate play experiences for a young child.
Responsibilities:
- Engage the toddler in creative, playful indoor and outdoor activities
- Introduce simple projects and imaginative play opportunities
- Support transitions and routines with warmth and consistency
- Tidy play areas and clean up after snacks or activities
- Collaborate with Mom to support a smooth, peaceful home environment
Light Household Tasks May Include:
- Switching, folding, and putting away laundry
- Unloading dishwasher and putting away groceries
- Taking out trash and recycling
- Occasional help with organizing or tidying additional spaces
Qualifications:
Required:
- CPR/First Aid Certificate
- Experience with toddlers or young children
- Creative and engaging—able to plan or initiate fun activities
- Responsible, organized, and self-motivated
- Strong communication skills and a collaborative mindset
Preferred:
- Comfortable assisting in a home with a parent present
- Enjoys being part of a dynamic and loving household
- Detail-oriented and able to anticipate family needs
