What are the responsibilities and job description for the Family Assistant position at Pb+J Collective?
Job Summary
We are the Pb J Collective and we help families to find the Nanny who is the peanut butter to their jelly! We are currently looking for a part time family assistant to pick their 5 year old boy up from school and care for him in the afternoons (12:30), 4 or 5 days a week, Monday-Friday. Exact hours can be decided on between you and the family!
SKills the family is looking for in a nanny:
- we are looking for someone that enjoys and has experience with an active and busy 5 year old boy
- has experience keeping a family house organized and tidy, cooking, laundry
- we are looking for someone that can develop a strong relationship with our son and feels confident in being a sturdy leader (caretaker) for our growing boy. We believe that our son will learn so much from his nanny and we want our nanny to feel confident in guiding him as he grows.
All interested applicants must meet the following requirements to be considered:
- Must have at least 2 years of professional experience working with children in a relatable field.
- Must be at least 18 years old
- Must enjoy working with children!
- Must have Child/Infant CPR and First Aid certification or be willing to becoming certified
- Must be willing to submit to our screening process which includes Background Checks, Social Media Screening, Drug-testing, and Driving Record Check (we cover these costs!)
- Must have reliable transportation that you feel comfortable transporting someone else’s children in.
- No additional children permitted to join you on your job
- Must be comfortable with pets (cats and dogs)
- Current on vaccinations. Covid vaccinated and boosted candidates preferred (All families differ on their preferences for vaccines).

- Tuesday and Thursday 8-2 p.m.
- Open to travel with family if schedule allows

Experience:
- Nannying or Childcare: 2 years (Required)
License/Certification:
- Driver's License (Required)
- CPR Certification (Preferred)
