What are the responsibilities and job description for the Flexible Hours Nanny position at Pb+J Collective?
We’re on the lookout for a warm, caring, and energetic nanny for a family in Reno with two boys, ages 5 and 3. This position requires a nanny to be flexible, as the parents' schedules change monthly (they can give notice for the monthly schedule changes 1 month prior to each schedule change). They will need someone 3-4 days per week (each month will vary Monday-Sunday) and can guarantee 20 hours per week.
About the Family- The kiddos love the outdoors, and for caregivers to get down on the floor and play with them! They are very active.
- Their 5 year old boy loves books, art projects, pretend play, playing in the dirt, water play, and all things that allow him to be active!
- Their 3 year old boy loves to follow brother and play anything he is doing (water play, dirt play, blocks, chalk)
Schedule:
- Monday–Sunday (days will change each month but always 3-4 days per week)
- 7:00 a.m. – 1:00 p.m. or 3:00 p.m. -7:30 p.m.
Responsibilities
- Plan fun, age-appropriate activities that encourage learning and creativity.
- Manage daily routines, including meals.
- Park outings
- Handle light housekeeping related to the children, such as tidying play areas, children’s laundry, and preparing meals/snacks.
- Foster a safe, warm, and engaging environment for the children.
Qualifications
- Current CPR and First Aid certification (required- we can help you obtain). Experience caring for multiple children at once.
- A valid driver’s license and access to a reliable, insured vehicle.
