Part-Time Housekeeper for Professional Family
We are seeking a dedicated, detail-oriented Part-Time Housekeeper to help maintain a clean, organized, and comfortable home. The ideal candidate is efficient, highly organized, and committed to upholding a high standard of cleanliness.
Responsibilities:
- Perform daily cleaning and tidying of all rooms, including bedrooms, bathrooms, living areas, and the kitchen.
- Dust furniture, surfaces, and decorative items.
- Vacuum, sweep, and mop floors as needed.
- Clean and polish mirrors, glass surfaces, and windows.
- Empty trash and recycling bins.
- Feed and care for the family dog.
- Handle laundry: sort, wash, fold, and iron clothing and linens.
- Maintain organization in closets, cabinets, and storage areas.
- Monitor household supplies and maintain an inventory list; notify when restocking is needed.
- Grocery shopping as needed.
- Assist with seasonal cleaning (e.g., spring cleaning, holiday prep).
- Support packing/unpacking during travel or moves.
- Collaborate with other household staff or contractors as required.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience as a housekeeper in a private home, with a strong understanding of professional cleaning techniques.
- High attention to detail and commitment to maintaining an immaculate environment.
- Knowledge of appropriate cleaning products for various surfaces and materials.
- Excellent time management skills and the ability to work independently.
- Physical stamina to perform tasks requiring bending, lifting, and standing for long periods.
- Exceptional organizational and prioritization skills.
- Discretion, respect for privacy, and ability to maintain confidentiality.
- Strong communication skills to follow instructions and provide updates.
- Familiarity with the care of delicate fabrics and valuables.
- Willingness to undergo a background check.
