Overview
We are seeking a compassionate and patient nanny for a 2 month old baby boy and his big sister (4 years old)! This family is looking for a nanny who has had experience with newborns!
Responsibilities
- Experience with newborns (ability to know their cues regarding naps and feedings).
- Provide attentive care for both an infant and toddler simultaneously.
- Engage children in educational activities that promote learning and development.
- Maintain a clean and safe environment.
- Assist with daily routines such as feedings, naps, diaper changes, warming milk for bottles.
- Communicate effectively with parents regarding children's activities, behavior, and any concerns.
- Implement age-appropriate activities that encourage creativity, physical activity, and social skills.
- Administer first aid when necessary and ensure the safety of all children at all times.
- Washing bottles, tidying up after play, and folding the kids' laundry when there is time.
Qualifications
- Ability to care for two children at very busy ages simultaneously.
- Strong knowledge of newborn care practices and child development principles.
- Certification in First Aid and CPR is required (we will assist with this).
- Ability to create a clean, organized, and engaging environment for children.
- Excellent communication skills to interact with both children and parents effectively.
- Patience, creativity, and a genuine love for working with children of all ages.
