Are you passionate about providing exceptional care and guidance for families during their baby’s earliest months? We’re looking for a knowledgeable and nurturing Newborn Care Specialist (NCS) to support a family by focusing on their baby’s unique needs overnight. The family would prefer a Tuesday-Saturday schedule, 10 hours per night.
Responsibilities:
- Establish and maintain healthy feeding and sleep routines for the newborn.
- Provide expert guidance on newborn care, including soothing techniques, developmental milestones, and creating a calm environment.
- Monitor the baby’s sleep and feeding schedules throughout the night, ensuring all needs are met.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe environment for the baby.
- Offer emotional support and reassurance to parents during this transformative time.
Qualifications:
- Previous experience as a Newborn Care Specialist or Night Nanny, with references.
- In-depth knowledge of infant development, feeding routines, and sleep training.
- Certification in Newborn Care Specialist Training is a plus.
- Current CPR and First Aid certification for infants and children.
- Strong communication skills, reliability, and a compassionate demeanor.
Schedule:
- Nighttime hours (specific days to be determined).
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $25.00 - $30.00 per hour
Expected hours: 50 – 55 per week
