Manager, Process Engineering
Lead the Process Engineering Department. Ensure the department is supporting the refinery's process engineering needs on a short and long-term basis and is accountable for the plant process health, optimization, and management as well as performing engineering studies and drive solution approaches for a wide range of assignments by applying technical expertise and problem-solving capability. Foster a positive working environment that is inclusive and respectful of all, support the site and TRC values and objectives, and model integrity and work commitment.
PRINCIPLE RESPONSIBILITIES :
Health, Safety and Environmental (HSE) :
- Maintain 100% compliance with and fully support refinery HSE policies, procedures, guidelines and initiatives
- Serve as a safety leader within the Refinery by setting the example for safety in the field
- Address / communicate observed unsafe conditions immediately
- Responsible for overall safety performance of the process engineering personnel
- Instill the expectation to identify and eliminate hazards associated with daily work activity and enforce the use of safe work procedures and practices
- Consider potential HSE impacts when completing maintenance work scope
- Actively participate in safety meetings and safety audits
