What are the responsibilities and job description for the Order Dept/Office Assistant position at PBI Sales?
PBI Sales, a family-owned wholesale food packaging company in business for over 40 years, is looking for a Part-Time Orders Assistant to help with various tasks.
Responsibilities
- Assist in the scheduling and processing of orders including drop shipping, preparing paperwork/Bills of lading, getting freight rates, communicating with various warehouses.
- Tracking orders
- Sending sample packages
- Process credit card orders
- Compiling pricing and inventory spreadsheets
- Answer phones and typical office tasks
Skills
- Organized and detail oriented
- Work well independently and also a team player
- Dependable, helpful, confident
- Basic math skills
- Basic administration skills - such as answering phones, sending out product samples, scanning etc.
- Microsoft Office experience (Outlook, Word and Excel)
- We also use Quickbooks, Fedex and UPS Software
Experience Requirements/Preferences:
· Knowledge of packaging, disposables, and shipping are each a plus.
Employment Type
Part Time Mon thru Fri : 2 days @ 8 hours each, and 3 days @ 4 hours each to total about 30 hours
