Job Summary
We are looking for a Business Development / Freight Sales Representative to leverage your existing network and secure direct freight contracts. You’ll transition business away from brokers, develop new client relationships, and ensure long-term revenue growth.
Compensation
- Base Salary: $50,000 – $80,000 (depending on experience)
- Commission: 3%–8% of net revenue (higher for new clients)
- Bonuses: Volume, margin, and broker reduction incentives
Responsibilities
- Secure and transition freight contracts from brokers to direct shippers
- Prospect and manage a growing portfolio of clients
- Track performance and sales pipeline using CRM tools (e.g., Salesforce)
Skills & Qualifications
- Sales experience in freight/logistics
- Proven ability to negotiate and secure new business
- Proficient in CRM systems and reporting
