The Director of Technology will lead technology based projects to develop the plans and specifications primarily for K-12 and Higher Education projects. This role is responsible for leading the project aspects of the Division 27 and 28 scopes of work. They will be the liaison with the owner and the Architectural team for gathering information and coordinating with the engineering team.Your Impact:
- Providing technical guidance to engineering teams and top management.
- Supporting established organizational objectives by developing goals and strategies.
- Finding and implementing ways to improve cost-efficiency.
- Dismissing and hiring new staff.
- Overseeing engineer teams.
- Designing engineering strategies.
Here’s What You’ll Need:
- Previous experience as a director, or similar leadership role.
- Broad knowledge of software engineering: languages, frameworks, techniques, and industry trends.
- Experience leading complex, major changes and initiatives; demonstrated skills in change management on an organizational and interpersonal level; experience with integrating teams across multiple business units and managing a geographically dispersed workforce.
- Experience designing and managing an effective IT governance framework across the spectrum of IT service delivery.
