About the Position
The Managing Director of Architecture and Engineering will be responsible for overseeing all client relations, including project team performance and overall client satisfaction. This individual must possess exceptional interpersonal skills and be able to communicate effectively with clients and stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement strategic plans to drive business growth and expansion.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with current and prospective clients.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality services and meet client expectations.
- Prior experience in K-12, Higher Education, Civic, Higher Education and/or Healthcare market sectors is essential.
- Must hold a valid Registered Architect license in the state of residence.
- A minimum of 15 years of experience in the architectural profession, including at least 10 years managing project teams and processes.
- Ability to stand and sit for extended periods, use hands to manipulate tools or equipment, and talk and hear.
- Demonstrate safe driving habits and maintain a valid driver's license and proof of insurance.
- Ability to lift and/or move up to thirty-five (35) pounds.
- Flexibility to occasionally work with the Firm's third-party IS support vendor after normal working hours to support software updates or assist in troubleshooting issues.
- Excellent vision capabilities, including close vision, color vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus.
- Comfortable working in various weather conditions and exposed to fumes, airborne particles, loud noises, and potentially hazardous conditions typical of facility construction activities.
