What are the responsibilities and job description for the Shipping and Receiving Clerk position at PBM Supply & MFG., Inc?
PBM Supply & MFG., Inc is a family owned manufacturing company that has been in business since 1969. PBM Supply is looking to fill a full-time Shipping and Receiving Clerk position at the Corvallis, OR location. This position will have the opportunity to work at a new and growing branch of the company.
The Shipping and Receiving Clerk will oversee all shipping, receiving, and inventory control operations at this location. This position will work as a part of a team, as well as independently to prioritize the needs of the company. The position will work closely with sales and delivery drivers to ensure all of the customer’s needs are met.
Requirements:
- Ability to adhere to all health, safety, quality, and operational standards with little oversight.
- Ability to use a computer to perform inventory control and other job duties.
- Ability to operate a forklift, and other equipment as necessary, after successful completion of on-the-job training.
- Ability to stand, squat, climb, balance, bend, kneel, stoop, walk, push, pull, reach, crouch, and crawl for long periods of time.
- Ability to lift, carry, move, and handle heavy items (approximately 70 lbs.) for extended periods of time.
- Demonstrated experience providing customer service.
- Inventory software experience, a plus.
- Driver’s license, a plus.
- Basic mechanical skills for assembly, a plus.

Compensation starting salary: $20 per hour depending on qualifications.
